"Who Pays if the Product is Counterfeit?"

The consumer who purchases a fake Gucci bag doesn’t face the same risk as a patient who relies on the purity of long-trusted medicines. Now it seems that brand companies face more risk than the familiar damaged...reputations, enforcement by regulatory agencies, and litigation by consumers. An article by Michael Volkov posted on his Corruption, Crime & Compliance blog explains the risk confronting global companies from another source: counterfeit goods investigators who can protect the integrity of a company’s brand or damage it even further.
