1/4/16: Many aspects of regulation and enforcement are likely to change in the upcoming years, but the only place to start is where we are now and that is DOJ’s enhanced cooperation with the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). According to a post by Jaime Orloff Feeney on law firm Ropes & Gray’s website, DOJ’s search for an attorney dedicated to that effort is further evidence of DOJ’s ongoing commitment to fighting fraud globally. The move has been enthusiastically supported by both SFO and FCA.
