Antitrust Enforcement Goes Global

7/15/16:  In a prepared statement before the US House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary (Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law), FTC Commissioner Maureen Ohlhausen provides worthwhile insight into the thinking, actions and plans of the FTC toward global antitrust enforcement.  Among the points she highlighted were  how the FTC is engaged with global antitrust regulations and policies, its advocacy  of due process and competition-based policies, and its attention to “… intellectual property in the international antitrust context, with a focus on China …”
