"What Role Does Business Play in Fighting Corruption?"

3/18/15: The first answer to that question is inevitably that companies can prevent and detect corruption within their own organizations, educate their employees and third party partners, and reinforce an ethical corporate culture through a strong and effective communication program.  But, participants at the...World Economic Forum have taken a broader view of what business can do.  According to an article posted on the World Economic Forum Agenda, “Collective action is the vehicle to do this, bringing together traditional competitors to learn, discuss and drive forward the solutions we need.”  The article gives an overview of the actions underway and provides links to worthwhile resources including a survey by the Building Foundations against Corruption Project.
