Menu9/1/14: The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) recently released its 2014 Report to the Nation, which paints a serious picture of the fraud that goes on inside a company. While CCOs concentrate on global bribery and corruption, the ACFE report concludes that the typical organization loses 5% of revenues each year...to fraud – a figure that translates into a potential projected global loss of nearly $3.7 trillion. Especially interesting among the study findings: the most common types of fraud, the role of anti-fraud controls, and the job functions most likely to be associated with fraud.
