How long does it take to complete the Healthcare Code of Conduct Module?
Our 4-topic Healthcare Code module is designed to be completed in about 20 minutes.
Where is the Module hosted?
The module is hosted entirely on your organization's Learning Management System--there is no need for integration, nor is there a live connection to any Steele Compliance Wave systems.
Can you bookmark your place in the Healthcare Code of Conduct Module and come back to it later?
This will depend on the functionality of your Learning Management System, but yes; the SCORM module we provide does allow it.

How many topics are included with the Module?
The module includes the four topics above (HIPAA, Fraud, Waste & Abuse,Anti Kickback, Gifts), plus a section on Reporting. You may also choose to add or swap out for additional topics from our general (non Healthcare) Code Library:
If you desire topics not shown on this list, Steele Compliance Wave will gladly work with you on a cooperative basis to create new topics.
Production:
What is the process for production of my Healthcare Code of Conduct Module?
Your Steele Compliance Wave Project Manager provides you with clear instruction and simple templates so you may dictate your customizations for text, branding and quiz questions. From this information, we build the SCORM module for your LMS.
How long does it take to create my Healthcare Code of Conduct Module?
Once we receive all topic selections and customizations that you would like, it will take roughly 6-8 weeks to complete production and deliver your finished module.
Quizzes:
How do the quizzes work/how are they scored?
Learners must receive a passing score in order to complete the module; a learner failing to receive a passing score will be exposed to additional content and will then need to retake the quiz.
How many questions do you have to answer correctly to pass?
The default passing score for the module is 80%, but you can set this to the score of your choosing.
How are quiz responses tracked and are the responses saved?
Quiz responses are not tracked and responses are never saved. Although we acknowledge that there can be value in knowing which questions are consistently missed, many of our Members have reported that they do not want to track deficiencies which can become discoverable data. For this reason, completions are binary -- a learner has either completed the training module or not.
Where do the questions come from? Are there multiple questions to be selected from?
We have a pool of editable and customizable questions that you are able to choose from. You may also write your own!

How much does the module cost?
This will depend upon the size of your training audience, and one of our specialists can provide you an accurate quote. Do note that there are significant discounts available for Steele Compliance Wave Members.
What does customization cost?
Standard customization of the Code Module comes at no added cost. This includes look & feel as well as specific content related to your policies, processes, etc. Additional customizations (such as customizations of videos) are also available for a fee.
What is the cost of translating my Healthcare Code of Conduct Module?
Standard translations -- including translations of standard customizations -- are included for our Global Premium Members. We're happy to discuss the details of this with you.
