Our leadership team – Joel Rogers, Jay Sullivan and Cathleen Sullivan – are former principals of RedHawk Communications, a precedent-setting leader in the Ethics and Compliance industry. At RedHawk, the team created the Ethics Communication Coach SM and C&E resources that are still used today.

Joel Rogers is an accomplished executive in the Ethics and Compliance industry. Rogers has traveled extensively speaking on business ethics and has conducted workshops designed to impact organizational culture for large corporations and government agencies. He has authored Corporate Codes of Conduct and Ethics for several major global companies, including Chevron, McCormick, Hill International, Lincoln Electric and many others.
Before co-founding Compliance Wave LLC, Rogers held several leadership roles with established industry brands. These include SVP Global Sales & Marketing at UL EduNeering; Managing Director, Europe, at Kaplan EduNeering; and Director of Corporate Compliance & Ethics at RedHawk Communications.
He has also been the Director of Ethics Training & Education for the City of New York, served on the Steering Committee of the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws (COGEL) and has consulted to many public agencies, including U.S. municipalities and foreign governments.
Rogers holds a Certificate from the Healthcare Compliance, Ethics & Regulation Programme at Seton Hall Law School & Sciences Po in Paris, and was named a 2008 Millstein Rising Star of Corporate Governance by the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at the Yale School of Management.
Jay Sullivan was the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at RedHawk Communications Inc., a corporate media and online education company focused on promoting ethical business practices and corporate social responsibility within the world's corporations.
Jay has deep experience in marketing and media development. At RedHawk, Jay led the organization's marketing program and oversaw the entire portfolio of their compliance and ethics communication tools and solutions, many of which are still used today. In 2008, Jay headed the process that resulted in RedHawk's acquisition by Kaplan Inc., a division of The Washington Post.
Additionally, Jay has developed award-winning videos and films, including two notable documentaries commissioned by Merck & Co., Inc.
Jay has worked with or conducted on-camera interviews with some of the world's most recognizable figures, including President Jimmy Carter, Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, Ossie Davis and numerous Fortune 500 CEOs.
Cathleen Sullivan co-founded and was President at RedHawk Communications Inc., a corporate media and online education company focused on promoting ethical business practices and corporate social responsibility within the world's corporations.
Cathleen and her RedHawk team were pioneers in the Compliance and Ethics industry – under her leadership, the organization delivered business ethics training and communication to over two million people in 25 countries and trained Fortune 100 workforces on ethics and compliance issues.
Cathleen has also written Codes of Conduct for companies that include NY Life, Dow Chemical and many others. She has presented regularly at ethics and compliance conferences around the country and has worked with Fortune 500 CEOs to craft their "tone at the top" communication strategies.
Cathleen has an MBA from Babson College and has been considered one of the country's leading business ethics consultants.
