Menu7/9/18: The most obvious return on an effective ethics and compliance program (E&C) is compliance and freedom from the enforcement actions associated with failure to comply with laws and regulations. But, the “ethics” part of E&C delivers its own substantial benefits. The Ethics and Compliance Institute recently released the second installment of the 2018 Global Business Ethics Survey (GBES), which drills into the effects of an effective program in the workplace. Just as a taste, the survey reports that companies see a “significant decrease in misconduct,” according to the Institute.
