"Lessons From Corrupt Companies"

1/8/16: By now, it would seem that CEOs and senior executives would routinely lead the charge for enterprise-wide compliance and ethics. According to a recent post by Alison Taylor on Corporate Compliance Insights, far too many CEOs are leading their companies in the opposite...direction. The article states grimly, “A recent OECD review of successful corruption prosecutions cites involvement by senior management or Chief Executive Officers in more than 50 percent of global anti-corruption cases to date — revealing deliberately unethical decision making by executives who decisively outrank Chief Compliance Officers.”
